Cleaner for MTP/MPO Connectors

This one-click cleaner removes dust and oils from MTP and MPO ferrule end-faces without alcohol. It works on both exposed jumper ends and connectors seated inside adapters. The tool handles ferrules with or without guide pins and is aimed at technicians maintaining fibre infrastructure.

All Twelve Fibres Cleaned Together

A single push engages the connector and cleans all twelve fibres at once, eliminating the need for individual fibre cleaning. The dry process avoids solvent residue and reduces the time spent on each termination. Up to six hundred cleaning cycles are available before the cartridge is exhausted.

Six Hundred Cleanings Before Replacement

The cleaner comfortably handles routine maintenance of MTP/MPO patch cords and QSFP transceiver interfaces across multiple racks. It runs out when the internal supply is depleted after the rated number of cycles, at which point the unit must be replaced. Buyers needing a reusable or refillable system should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How many times can the cleaner be used before the cleaning tip needs replacement?

The pen is rated for up to 600 cleanings before the internal cleaning element is exhausted and the unit must be replaced.

What limits the number of fibers cleaned in a single operation?

The cleaner engages all 12 fibers of an MPO or MTP ferrule simultaneously, so the 12-fiber connector width is the limiting factor per click.

Does the tool generate heat or noise during repeated daily use?

No, it is a purely mechanical push-to-clean device with no motor, electronics or consumable fluids, so it produces no heat and no audible noise.
