Alpine PXE-C80-88 OPTIM8 Bundle

This bundle combines an 8-channel Hi-Res digital sound processor amplifier with two shallow 12-inch subwoofer enclosures, 6.5-inch coaxial speakers, and 6x9-inch component speakers. It is designed for car audio enthusiasts seeking a complete, high-resolution system upgrade from a single integrated package.

Upgrading from factory or basic aftermarket audio

The bundle replaces separate amplifier, processor, subwoofer, and speaker purchases with one coordinated kit. The jump is worth it when you want real-time tuning via app, simplified wiring, and matched components that eliminate the guesswork of building a system piece by piece.

Capacity and headroom for daily listening

The eight amplifier channels drive front, rear, and subwoofer channels simultaneously with headroom for dynamic peaks. The shallow subwoofers fit tight spaces while delivering low-frequency impact, though extreme output levels or competition-grade SPL demands will exceed their design envelope.

Questions about this item

What clearance does each 12-inch SS-SB12 enclosure need for the adjustable mounting brackets?

The shallow enclosures use adjustable brackets that fit tight spaces; allow room for the bracket swing and the 2-inch voice-coil depth when positioning the pair.

Which wiring step on the PXE-C80-88 is most often missed during install?

Connecting all eight amplifier channels and the USB link to the PC or iPhone app so real-time tuning can actually run.

When should the R2-S69C component crossovers and the SS-SB12 enclosures be inspected?

Check crossover mounts and enclosure seals after the first few hundred kilometres, then at each seasonal change to catch vibration loosening or air leaks.
