Upgrade From Basic Covers

This accessory replaces a simple folio or stand that offers no typing or cursor input. The jump is worth it when you need a laptop-like workflow for document editing, web browsing or extended typing sessions. It does not suit users who only want a lightweight screen protector or a stand for media consumption.

Questions about this item

Does the keyboard case generate noticeable heat or fan noise during long typing sessions?

The accessory is a passive leather folio with a wireless keyboard and trackpad; it has no fans or active cooling, so it produces no mechanical noise and no measurable heat of its own.

What iPad model and software version are required for the trackpad to function?

The case fits iPad Pro 11‑inch models from 2018 to 2022 and iPad Air 10.9‑inch models from 2020 to 2022; the trackpad requires iPadOS 15.0 or later.

Can the case stay attached when I dock the iPad to an older Lightning‑only hub or charger?

The folio wraps the iPad without covering the Lightning/USB‑C port, so existing cables and hubs continue to connect while the case remains on.
