Custom Dash Cam for GMC Acadia

This dual-channel dash cam fits GMC Acadia models from 2017 to 2023 designated as Model B. It mounts behind the rear-view mirror for an OEM appearance with no exposed wiring. The front camera records in 4K resolution while the rear camera captures 1080p video. A 128GB microSD card is included in the package.

Suited for Acadia owners with Model B sensor cover

This kit suits drivers who want a factory-look installation using the auto-dimming mirror power adapter or the supplied OBD adapter. Buyers must verify their vehicle sensor cover matches the Model B design shown in the reference images. It is not for vehicles lacking the 10-pin mirror plug or OBD port access, nor for Acadia models identified as Model A.

Model B sensor cover compatibility

The decisive specification is the vehicle sensor cover style, which determines whether this Model B unit fits. Model A and Model B share the same 2017-2023 model years but use different covers. Installation requires the 10-pin square plug on the auto-dimming rear-view mirror or the included OBD power adapter for parking monitor function.

Questions about this item

Does the 10-pin square plug from the auto-dimming rear-view mirror power this unit directly?

Yes, if your GMC Acadia 2017-2023 has the 10-pin square plug the kit includes a matching adapter that draws power without extra wiring.

Which step do installers most often miss when fitting the rear camera cable?

Routing the rear-cam cable from the front unit to the rear glass before locking the front module behind the mirror; skipping this leaves the cable exposed.

When should the included 128 GB microSD card be replaced?

Replace it when the dash cam reports a card error or footage becomes corrupted, as continuous loop recording gradually wears the flash memory.
