Portable Bluetooth speaker for outdoor parties

The Altec Lansing Hydrablast Imw1300 is a wireless portable audio device built for outdoor gatherings. Its IP67 rating means it withstands water and dust exposure during poolside or beach use. A built-in carabiner hook lets you clip the speaker to a backpack, bike or kayak so music travels with you. The integrated power bank feature charges phones or tablets while the speaker plays.

IP67 waterproofing and 20 hour playtime

The sealed enclosure protects internal components from immersion and dust without adding bulk. USB-C recharging connects to any standard USB power outlet or laptop for convenient top-ups between outings. Twenty hours of rated playtime supports a full day of listening on a single charge. LED lighting adds visual atmosphere without a noticeable impact on battery endurance.

Sustained output with device charging active

During extended sessions the speaker maintains consistent bass response and volume while simultaneously supplying power to a connected phone. The rugged housing resists knocks and splashes that occur during long events. Battery management preserves the 20 hour window even when the wireless charging pad is in use. The combination of audio output and device charging stays reliable for the duration of a typical party.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the Imw1300 to a backpack or bike and what step do people skip?

Clip the built-in carabiner hook directly to a loop or strap; the step people skip is checking that the gate snaps fully closed so the speaker cannot detach during movement.

What part of the Imw1300 will need replacement first after repeated outdoor use?

The internal rechargeable battery will lose capacity over hundreds of charge cycles, eventually reducing the 20 hour playtime and requiring professional service to replace.

At what point does the IP67 rating stop protecting the Imw1300 during sustained immersion?

The rating covers submersion up to one metre for 30 minutes; longer or deeper exposure can let water penetrate the seals and damage the electronics.
