ALTV244 24VAC Power Supply

The ALTRONIX ALTV244 delivers 24VAC at 4A or 28VAC at 3.5A from a 115VAC 60Hz input. It is designed for CCTV installations that require multiple fused outputs from a single wall-mounted unit.

Four Fused Outputs with Spare

Four independent outputs each carry a fuse, and a spare fuse is included in the package. The 4A total current limit at 24VAC caps the combined load, so installers must balance camera draws across the four terminals.

Steel Enclosure with Line Cord

A grey steel enclosure measuring 8.50 by 7.50 by 3.50 inches mounts directly to a wall and ships with a line cord for immediate connection. No batteries are required, and CE marking confirms compliance with declared standards.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 24 VAC 4 A or the 28 VAC 3.5 A setting for my cameras?

Select 24 VAC at 4 A for standard CCTV cameras; switch to 28 VAC at 3.5 A only if the connected devices specifically require the higher voltage.

What does the 4 A rating mean when the unit is powering four camera feeds?

The 4 A total at 24 VAC is shared across all four fused outputs, so the combined draw of every connected camera must stay below 4 A.

The supply is listed at 115 VAC 60 Hz — what does that limit in practice?

It operates only on 115 VAC 60 Hz mains, so it must be used on a North American supply or with a suitable step-down transformer.
