Cooling pad with dual 5-inch fans

The Aluratek ACP01FB is a laptop cooling pad equipped with two 5-inch fans that spin at 800 RPM. It connects through a USB 2.0 port and draws power from the laptop itself. The pad supports devices up to 17 inches including MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, Chromebook, Ultrabook and netbooks.

Users needing quiet, basic airflow

This pad suits owners of larger laptops who want a simple, powered cooler without an external adapter. Buyers who need adjustable fan speeds, higher RPM for intensive loads, or a different USB standard should look at other models.

USB 2.0 powered operation

The cooler is powered entirely by the laptop's USB 2.0 port, so no separate power supply is required. Verify that your machine has a free USB 2.0 port able to deliver sufficient current for both fans.

Questions about this item

Will the dual 5 inch 800 RPM fans need cleaning or replacement later?

The fans are sealed units with no user-serviceable parts; dust can be cleared from the intake vents with compressed air, but the motors themselves are not designed to be swapped.

What limit appears first when the pad runs continuously at 800 RPM?

The USB 2.0 port supplies a fixed 5 V current, so the fans cannot spin faster than their rated 800 RPM regardless of how long the pad operates.

How much noise and heat does the unit produce during all-day use?

Two 5 inch fans at 800 RPM move air quietly; the aluminium surface stays near room temperature while the fans add only a low background hum.
