Paulownia Floating Shelf Set

The AMADA HOMEFURNISHING set provides three wall-mounted shelves crafted from solid paulownia wood with a natural finish. The lightweight timber resists decay, warping and pests, making it suitable for humid rooms such as bathrooms. Each shelf measures 41.8 cm long, 11 cm deep and 0.6 cm thick, offering display space for toiletries, books or decor. A metal wire basket measuring 16.5 cm by 5.9 cm by 5.5 cm is included for extra storage.

Upgrade From Basic Ledge

These shelves replace simple wall ledges or adhesive-mounted racks that lack integrated basket storage or verified load ratings. The jump is worth it when you need each unit to hold up to 22 lbs on heavy-duty metal brackets. The paulownia construction adds durability in damp conditions where particle-board alternatives swell or sag over time. The modular three-piece design also allows vertical stacking or corner configurations that single fixed shelves cannot achieve.

Check Wall Type And Stud Spacing

Verify that your mounting surface is wood studs, drywall, solid concrete or brick, as the supplied hardware covers only those substrates. Confirm the 41.8 cm shelf width fits the intended wall segment and that the 14.8 cm overall projection clears nearby fixtures or door swings. Ensure you have a drill for pilot holes and a level for alignment before starting assembly. The total packaged weight is 1.851 kg, so factor that into handling and fixing choices.

Questions about this item

What wall materials can the 41.8 cm shelves be mounted on?

The heavy-duty metal brackets and included hardware support installation on wood studs, drywall, solid concrete or brick.

Which step in the assemble-then-hang process is most often missed?

Drilling pilot holes before hanging the assembled shelves is the step installers skip, risking misaligned brackets.

How should the paulownia wood surfaces be maintained over time?

Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth; the wood is naturally resistant to decay, warping and pests, so no sealants or oils are required.
