Everyday Food Storage

Amazon Basics 131609 plastic wrap comes in three clear rolls, each 100 square feet, giving 300 square feet total. The BPA-free film clings to glass, plastic and metal containers to create a tight seal that keeps food fresh. It is microwave safe for reheating and freezer safe for long-term storage.

Home Cooks and Meal Preppers

Households that regularly cover bowls, wrap leftovers or portion meals will find the multi-roll pack convenient and cost-effective. Buyers who need heavy-duty cling film for commercial kitchens or extra-wide rolls for large catering trays should look at a different product.

Simple Pull and Tear

Each roll measures 12 inches wide by 1198.8 inches long, fitting standard dispenser boxes or the built-in cutter on the packaging. The thin .1-inch film can stick to itself if pulled too quickly, so tear slowly and press the edges firmly to avoid air pockets.

Questions about this item

What container sizes does the 12‑inch width wrap cover?

The 12‑inch width stretches over standard bowls, plates and containers up to roughly 11 inches across, forming a tight seal on glass, plastic or metal rims.

Does the wrap stay sealed when reheating leftovers in the microwave?

Yes, the material is microwave safe and BPA free, so it maintains its seal during reheating without leaching chemicals into food.

How can I confirm the roll length matches the 100‑ft specification after opening?

Unroll the film against a measuring tape; each roll should extend to 100 feet (33.3 yards) before the cardboard core is reached.
