Product Identity

Amazon Basics 131732 is a clear polyethylene cling wrap supplied as a single roll covering 200 square feet. The film is BPA-free and rated microwave-safe for reheating tasks. It targets home cooks and small catering operations that need a versatile, food-grade barrier for everyday storage.

Installation & Common Issues

Using the wrap is straightforward: pull the desired length, tear against the box cutter, and press onto containers or directly onto food surfaces. The material adheres to glass, plastic and metal to form a tight seal. The most frequent issue is the film clinging to itself when pulled too quickly, which creates folds that are difficult to separate.

Suitability & Alternatives

This roll suits households that regularly wrap bowls, cover trays or portion leftovers for fridge and freezer use. Buyers who need a heavier-duty film for sharp bones or high-heat oven applications should look at something else. Users wanting a built-in slide cutter or a significantly wider roll will also need a different product.
