1 Litre Glass Kettle

This 1 litre electric kettle combines a glass carafe with a 1500 watt heating element for rapid boiling. Automatic shut-off and boil-dry protection provide safe operation during daily tea or coffee preparation. The BPA-free construction and Strix thermostat suit health-conscious users who want reliable temperature control. A wide 75-degree opening and removable filter simplify filling and cleaning.

Sustained Heating Behaviour

The 1500 watt element delivers consistent heat for repeated boiling cycles without performance drop. Strix thermostat technology maintains precise temperature management across multiple uses, preventing overheating during extended operation. Boil-dry protection automatically cuts power if water runs low, protecting the element during back-to-back cycles. The glass carafe allows visual monitoring of water level throughout sustained use.

Upgrade Considerations

This kettle replaces stovetop models or basic electric units lacking temperature precision and safety automation. The jump is worthwhile for users who value BPA-free materials, automatic shut-off convenience, and removable filtration for cleaner beverages. Households needing larger capacity or programmable temperature settings will find this 1 litre model insufficient for their requirements.

Questions about this item

How much power does the 1500W heating element draw during a full-day boiling cycle?

The kettle draws 1500W only while heating; automatic shut-off stops power once water boils, and boil-dry protection cuts power if the carafe runs dry, so it does not run continuously.

What power outlet and counter space must I already have for the 1 L glass carafe?

A standard household socket supplies the 1500W element, and the footprint of 7.88 inches wide by 8 inches tall fits most kitchen counters.

Will the Strix thermostat still regulate temperature accurately if I keep using my older stovetop kettle alongside it?

Yes, the Strix thermostat operates independently in this unit, so using a separate stovetop kettle does not affect its boil detection or shut-off performance.
