Everyday Mouse Pad for Desk Work

The Amazon Basics SBD86WD mouse pad measures 12.4 by 10.6 inches with a 0.08 inch thickness. A cloth surface gives consistent glide for optical and laser sensors. The rubberised base grips the desk so the pad does not shift during use. It is sold new in black.

Replacing Worn or Small Pads

Users moving up from a thin promotional mat or a damaged cloth surface will notice steadier tracking and a larger usable area. The jump is worth it when the old pad curls at the edges or slides on a smooth desk. Hand washing restores the surface when it collects dust or spills.

Suits Office and Casual Gaming

The pad fits standard desks and works for general computing, graphic design or casual gaming sessions. Buyers who need an extended desk-wide surface or a hard plastic surface for very low friction should look elsewhere. It also lacks stitched edges, so heavy daily friction may fray the cloth over time.

Questions about this item

How much desk space does the 12.4 x 10.6 inch pad need?

The pad measures 12.4 inches wide by 10.6 inches deep, so it fits on most desks without overhanging a standard keyboard tray.

What is the correct way to lay the pad down so it stays flat?

Place the rubberized base directly on the desk and smooth the cloth surface outward from the centre to remove air pockets that cause curling.

How do I clean the cloth surface when it gets dirty?

Hand wash the pad with mild soap and cool water, rinse thoroughly, then lay it flat to air dry before using it again.
