Two-metre Lightning-to-USB-A cables
This pack contains two cables each measuring two metres with a Lightning connector on one end and a USB-A plug on the other. They are built for Symbol and Motorola barcode scanners such as the LS2208, LS1203, LS4208 and DS6708. The grey Dura-Gray jacket uses a fogging treatment to resist scratches in daily warehouse use.
Replaces legacy PS/2 and RS232 links
The cables let you move from older PS/2 or RS232 scanner connections to a standard USB-A port once the host device is configured for USB. The upgrade is worthwhile when a workstation lacks legacy ports or when a single USB cable simplifies cabling at a checkout or inventory station.
Plug in and configure the scanner
Installation is a simple matter of connecting the Lightning end to the scanner and the USB-A end to the host, then completing the scanner’s USB configuration setting. The main issue is forgetting that configuration step, which leaves the scanner silent on the bus despite a good physical connection.
