Universal Vent Clip Car Mount

The AmazonBasics vent clip holder secures smartphones and small tablets with screen diagonals from 3.5 to 6 inches. It attaches to standard vehicle air vents for hands-free navigation and calls. The spring-loaded arms grip devices without tools or permanent adhesives.

360° rotation with fixed vent mounting

A ball joint allows full 360 degree rotation and tilt so the screen can be viewed in portrait, landscape or any angled position. The mount remains locked to a single vent blade, limiting placement to dashboards with compatible horizontal or vertical louvres. Thick or circular vent designs may prevent a secure fit.

Fits devices up to 6 inch display

The adjustable cradle expands to accommodate handsets up to 6 inches diagonally, covering models such as the 4.7 inch iPhone 6 and similar-era Android phones. Devices larger than 6 inches or heavier phablets with thick cases cannot be held safely by the rubberised arms.

Questions about this item

Is the 3.5 to 6 inch range the right fit for my phone?

The mount accepts any device with a display between 3.5 and 6 inches, so most current smartphones will fit securely.

How does the 360° rotation work when the mount is clipped to a vent?

A ball joint lets you spin the cradle a full 360 degrees and tilt it, so you can switch between portrait and landscape or any angle in between.

Does the vent clip hold on horizontal and vertical slats equally well?

The spring-loaded clip grips both horizontal and vertical vent blades, and the rubber pads add friction to keep the mount steady while driving.
