AME-68000 1/2" drive turbo socket set

This three-piece set contains 17 mm, 19 mm and 21 mm impact sockets on a 1/2" drive. It is built for technicians who need to remove stubborn lug nuts and heavy fasteners without stripping the corners.

Non-slip design and interchangeable disc

The non-slip geometry protects both the socket and the drive on nuts rounded up to 70 percent. Every socket in the range shares the same interchangeable disc, so one spare part covers the whole kit.

Over 40 percent more busting power

Centrifugal action delivers over 40 percent extra breaking torque for seized wheel nuts and rusted bolts. The set covers the three most common automotive sizes; larger or metric-only fasteners will require additional sockets.

Questions about this item

How long will the interchangeable disc last before I need to replace it?

The set uses one interchangeable disc across all centrifugal power sockets, so a single replacement disc services the 17 mm, 19 mm and 21 mm sockets.

What stops the 1/2" drive from slipping when I lean on a stuck lug nut?

The non-slip design grips up to 70 percent rounded-off nuts, letting the 1/2" drive transmit force without cam-out.

Does the turbo mechanism make the sockets run hot or noisy during a full tyre change?

The centrifugal power design adds over 40 percent more busting power with no motor, so there is no extra heat or noise during extended use.
