16 oz Lever-Grip Oil Can

The American Forge & Foundry 8044 is a 16 oz lever-grip oil can designed for automotive and general workshop lubrication. It suits mechanics and DIY users who need controlled, one-handed oil delivery during maintenance tasks.

Straight and Flexible Spouts Included

The can ships with both a 4-inch straight spout and a flexible spout that attach directly to the lever-grip head. Swapping spouts is tool-free, but the flexible tube can kink if bent sharply, restricting flow until straightened.

7 oz Working Capacity

The internal reservoir holds 7 oz of oil, which covers routine top-ups on small engines, hinges and precision components. Larger gearboxes or multiple vehicles will require frequent refilling, so the can is not suited for high-volume lubrication jobs.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 8044 oil can is dispensing properly after filling it?

Pump the lever grip and watch for a steady stream from the 4" straight or flexible spout; consistent flow without sputtering shows it is working as intended.

What comes in the box with the 8044 and what must I supply myself?

The can includes both a 4" straight spout and a 4" flexible spout; you need to provide the oil or lubricant to fill the 7 oz capacity.

Should I choose the 16 oz model or the 7 oz capacity version of the 8044?

They are the same can — the 16 oz refers to the model designation while the actual fill capacity is 7 oz, so there is only one version to select.
