Precise 33 lb Kitchen Scale

This American Weigh 001 digital scale measures up to 33 pounds with 1 gram or 0.1 ounce precision. It reads grams, kilograms, pounds/ounces, ounces and millilitres on a bright LED display. The tempered glass and stainless steel platform is waterproof for easy cleaning. A USB cable and two AAA batteries are included for flexible power.

Home Cooks Needing High Capacity

The 33 pound limit suits bakers weighing large bowls of dough or cooks portioning bulk ingredients. The tare function subtracts container weight instantly. Buyers who need finer resolution than 1 gram for very light spices or who require a completely flat surface without a retractable hook should look at something else.

Check Power and Space Before Buying

Verify you have a USB port or outlet for the supplied charging cable if you prefer rechargeable use. Ensure the 9 by 6.3 inch footprint fits your countertop or drawer. The unit powers off automatically after 120 seconds of inactivity to save energy.

Questions about this item

What power source does the American Weigh 001 scale need to operate?

It runs on the two included AAA batteries or via the supplied USB cable for rechargeable use.

Will the scale still weigh accurately if I keep using my existing mixing bowls?

Yes, place any bowl on the platform, press TARE to zero the display, then add ingredients for a net weight reading.

How can I confirm the scale is weighing correctly after I set it up?

Put a known 1 g weight or a standard 5 g nickel on the platform; the LED should show 1 g or 5 g respectively.
