Solar-powered indoor monitor

The American Weigh E0587TH-1 is a solar-powered digital thermometer and hygrometer designed for indoor spaces such as bedrooms, offices and wine cellars. Its 2.2-inch LCD shows temperature and humidity with large digits that are easy to read from a distance. The unit updates automatically every 10 seconds to keep readings current.

Solar panel and comfort icon

The built-in solar panel draws energy from ambient light so the device never needs a battery change in bright conditions. A three-sided vented housing improves airflow around the sensor for faster response. A smiley-face comfort indicator appears when temperature sits between 20.0°C and 26.1°C and humidity between 30% and 70%.

±1°F/°C accuracy spec

Accuracy is rated at ±1°F/°C for temperature and ±2% to 3% RH for humidity, which determines whether the monitor is precise enough for your application. The compact yellow case measures 3.9116 cm by 6.604 cm by 8.6106 cm and includes an instruction manual. Buyers who need data logging or remote alerts should look elsewhere.
