400lb Capacity Smart Bath Scale

The American Weigh FG2019 is a digital bathroom scale designed for users who want detailed body composition analysis at home. It supports a maximum load of 400lb or 180kg and delivers weight readings accurate to 0.1lb or 0.05kg. The scale measures 22 body metrics including weight, BMI, body fat, muscle mass and heart rate. A large VA display shows five key metrics within 15 seconds without requiring a phone connection.

22 Metrics and App Sync Change Tracking

The scale uses four high-sensitive electrodes and four G-shape sensors tested over 100000 cycles to capture 22 body composition data points. The Starfit app, available on App Store and Google Play, stores historical trends and syncs with Apple Health, Health Connect and Fitbit. This software integration turns single weigh-ins into long-term progress charts, letting you personalise fitness plans based on stored data rather than isolated readings.

Check Bluetooth and Floor Surface Before Ordering

The scale connects via Bluetooth to the Starfit app, so your smartphone must support Bluetooth pairing to unlock full tracking features. The platform measures 14.33in wide by 12.83in deep, requiring a flat, hard surface for accurate sensor readings. At 1.8555kg the unit is light enough to move easily, but the non-slip feet need stable flooring to prevent shifting during use.

Questions about this item

Will the four high-precision G-shape sensors or four electrodes need replacement after the 100000 test cycles?

The sensors are tested to 100000 performance cycles and the scale runs on zinc-carbon batteries that will need periodic replacement.

Which limit appears first during repeated weigh-ins: the 400lb capacity or the 15-second measurement window?

The 400lb maximum weight capacity is the hard limit; the 15-second display cycle simply shows five metrics per session.

Does the large VA display or Bluetooth sync add noticeable heat or power draw during all-day use?

The scale powers down automatically between uses, so the display and Bluetooth only draw from the zinc-carbon batteries during brief weigh-ins.
