WiFi & Bluetooth Hygrometer

The American Weigh H5103 monitors indoor temperature and humidity using a Swiss-made sensor. It connects to the Govee Home App via 2.4G Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for remote viewing. The electronic ink display remains readable in bright or low light. A tabletop stand and hanging hole allow flexible placement in bedrooms, basements or wine cellars.

Integration with smart home setup

The unit runs on a single 1.5 volt AA alkaline battery with a rated life of about six months. It refreshes readings every two seconds and stores up to two years of data in the app. Graphs covering the most recent 13 days can be viewed online and exported for records. No hub or gateway is required beyond a compatible 2.4G Wi-Fi router and a smartphone.

Suits remote monitoring needs

Buyers who want real-time alerts when conditions drift outside preset ranges will benefit from the app notification system. Those needing 5G Wi-Fi compatibility should look elsewhere, as only 2.4G networks are supported. The device does not measure weight despite the supplier title listing grams, ounces and pounds. It is intended solely for ambient climate tracking.
