High-capacity bathroom scale

The American Weigh HB908 supports a 660 lb maximum load with 0.1 lb resolution, making it suitable for users who exceed the limits of standard household scales. Its 12.4 by 12.4 inch tempered glass platform provides a stable, non-slip surface for confident stepping. The scale connects to a smartphone app for BMI tracking and displays weight on a bright white LED screen. Auto step-on and shut-off functions simplify daily use.

Capacity and precision limits

The 300 kg capacity covers most adult users, while the 0.05 kg increment detects small changes over time. Three-millimetre load sensors and the reinforced glass structure maintain accuracy after repeated heavy weigh-ins. Readings remain consistent across the battery life thanks to the regulated LED brightness. The platform size accommodates wider stances, but the scale does not measure body composition beyond BMI.

App-dependent smart features

All smart functionality, including BMI calculation and data history, requires the companion smartphone application. Without a compatible phone and the app installed, the scale operates as a basic weight display only. Buyers who prefer a fully standalone device or who cannot use a smartphone for health data should consider this limitation before purchase.

A green Stable icon lights on the white LED display once the reading locks, showing the measurement is complete at the stated precision.

Does the box include the three AAA zinc-carbon batteries or must I buy them?
