What this scale does

The American Weigh K68 measures ingredients from 0.1 ounce up to 33 pounds with 1 gram or 0.1 ounce graduation. Four load sensors and an anti-slip platform keep readings stable while you add items. It suits home cooks and bakers who need repeatable portions for recipes.

Power and display limits

The scale runs on two included AAA cells or via the Type-C port, and it powers down after three minutes of no weight change. Five units are available: grams, kilograms, pounds-ounces, fluid ounces and millilitres. The backlit LCD shows white digits on a dark background.

Installation and common issues

Place the scale on a flat, hard surface, press once to start and long-press to shut off. Use the tare button to zero a bowl before adding food. Overload or low-battery warnings appear on the display; the tempered glass top resists water but should not be submerged.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 33 lb or 15 kg capacity version?

This is a single model that weighs up to 33 lb or 15 kg, so there is no separate version to pick.

What does the 1 g graduation mean when I am portioning ingredients?

The scale displays weight changes in 1 g or 0.1 oz steps, letting you add items until the reading ticks to the next increment.

Does the USB Type‑C port handle data transfer or only charging?

The Type‑C connection is for power only; it charges the scale or runs it directly without batteries.
