Indoor Climate Monitor

The American Weigh KR-TH1-WH digital thermometer hygrometer measures indoor temperature and humidity for home owners, greenhouse growers and anyone tracking room conditions. It displays current readings alongside the highest and lowest values recorded since the last reset. A comfort-level indicator flags air as dry, comfortable or wet. Readings refresh every 10 seconds on a clear LCD screen.

Replacing Analog Gauges

Users moving from basic analog dials or single-function thermometers gain simultaneous temperature and humidity data with a stated accuracy of ±2~3% RH and ±1°F. The jump is worthwhile when you need to see trends through max and min history rather than a single snapshot. It also suits anyone who wants a comfort indicator without interpreting raw numbers.

Flexible Placement Options

The unit measures 2.6924 cm x 8.1026 cm x 8.3058 cm and offers three mounting methods: a keyhole slot for a wall nail, a built-in magnet for ferrous surfaces such as a refrigerator, and a fold-out stand for desktops or shelves. Its plastic housing and digital display run on standard button cells, so no wiring or external power supply is required.

Questions about this item

What are the exact dimensions of the KR-TH1-WH so I can check if it fits my shelf?

The unit measures 2.6924 cm deep by 8.1026 cm wide by 8.3058 cm high, making it compact enough for most shelves or countertops.

How do I mount it on the wall and what is the common mistake?

Hang it on a single nail using the rear keyhole slot; the mistake is driving the nail in too far, which prevents the slot from seating properly.

When will I need to replace the battery and how do I know?

Replace the coin cell when the LCD dims or readings freeze; the 10-second refresh will stop updating once voltage drops too low.
