High-Capacity Kitchen Scale

The American Weigh KT-66 handles up to 30 pounds with 0.05 ounce precision. It reads in grams, kilograms, pounds, pounds-and-ounces, and ounces. The yellow platform measures 9.3 by 6.3 inches and suits bakers, farmers, and small shippers.

Dual Power and Counting Mode

A plug-in adaptor keeps the scale running continuously on a counter, while four AAA cells let you move it to a market stall or shed. A dedicated counting mode speeds up tallying seeds, beans, or packed parcels. The stainless top lifts off for quick washing between tasks.

Low Heat and Silent Operation

With no moving parts and a simple LCD, the unit draws minimal power and generates no noticeable warmth. Auto-off can be set to five minutes, ten minutes, or disabled to save battery life during long sessions. The scale stays completely quiet in normal use.

Questions about this item

What is the maximum weight the KT-66 can measure before it stops reading accurately?

The KT-66 measures up to 30 pounds or 13000 grams with a precision of 0.05 ounces or 1 gram, so sustained loads beyond that limit will exceed its capacity.

Does the scale generate noticeable heat or fan noise during continuous all-day operation?

The KT-66 has no fan and draws power from an AC adaptor or four AAA batteries, so it runs silently and produces no perceptible heat during extended use.

What power source must I already have available to run the scale out of the box?

You will need either a standard wall outlet for the included plug-in adaptor or four AAA batteries, which are not supplied with the scale.
