Two-pack WiFi sensor for home monitoring

This American Weigh TH01 two-pack provides wireless temperature and humidity monitoring for indoor spaces. Each yellow unit connects directly to a 2.4 GHz WiFi network without a separate gateway. The sensors are suited for homeowners who want remote visibility of conditions in rooms such as bedrooms, kitchens or basements.

2.4 GHz WiFi only with ±1.8 °F and ±5 % RH accuracy

The sensors operate solely on 2.4 GHz networks; 5 GHz WiFi is not supported. Temperature is measured from -20 °C to 60 °C (-4 °F to 140 °F) with ±1 °C (±1.8 °F) accuracy. Humidity covers 0–100 % RH with ±5 % RH accuracy. Buyers needing 5 GHz connectivity or tighter calibration tolerances cannot use this product.

Battery-powered stick-on placement with app setup

Each sensor includes two AAA batteries and double-sided tape for surface mounting. Setup requires the Smart Life or Tuya app, a smartphone with Bluetooth enabled, and entry of the 2.4 GHz WiFi password. Users without a 2.4 GHz network or who prefer wired installation will find the device unsuitable.

Questions about this item

Should I buy the single unit or the 2-pack for multiple rooms?

The 2-pack includes two sensors so you can monitor separate spaces such as a bedroom and a greenhouse simultaneously from the Smart Life app.

What do the ±1.8°F and ±5%RH accuracy figures mean day to day?

Readings will typically sit within 1.8°F of the actual temperature and within 5% relative humidity, which is adequate for home comfort, wine storage or greenhouse use.

Does the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi requirement limit where I can place the sensors?

The sensors only connect to 2.4GHz networks, so they must be within range of a 2.4GHz signal; 5GHz-only networks are not supported.
