American Weigh TS-700 bath scale 440 lb 11.8 x 12.2 in

What the scale does and who it suits

The American Weigh TS-700 is a digital bathroom scale with a 440 lb capacity and a 11.8 x 12.2 in tempered glass platform. It tracks weight for up to two users and shows the change automatically when either person steps on. The 1.9 x 3.1 in LCD has a blue backlight for easy reading in low light. Measurements appear in 0.2 lb increments and the scale also displays kilograms. Three AAA alkaline batteries are included.

What to check before ordering

Ensure the floor where you will place the scale is hard, flat and level; carpet or uneven tile will affect accuracy. The platform measures 11.8 x 12.2 in, so confirm this footprint fits your available space. The unit weighs 1.71 kilograms and requires three AAA cells to operate. No app, wireless link or external power supply is mentioned in the specifications.

Thermals noise and power draw

The scale draws power only from the three included AAA alkaline batteries and has no fan, motor or heating element. An auto-off function shuts the display down after a period of inactivity to extend battery life. Operation is silent and the device produces no noticeable heat during normal use.
