American Weigh VT730 bath scale 550 lb 0.1 lb 8 mm glass 12.6 x 12.2 in blue LCD Bluetooth

What this scale does and who uses it

The American Weigh VT730 is a digital bathroom scale that measures body weight and calculates BMI, syncing results to the Vitafit app via Bluetooth. It supports up to 550 lb in 0.1 lb increments and stores data for unlimited users on US and EU cloud servers. The platform is 12.6 x 12.2 in with 8 mm tempered glass and a 3.6 x 2 in blue backlit LCD. It runs on three AAA batteries.

Thermals noise and power in normal use

The scale draws power only during a weigh-in and auto-shuts off afterward, so it produces no heat or audible noise while idle. Three zinc-carbon AAA cells supply all energy, with no external adapter or charging cable required. The tempered glass surface remains at room temperature and the blue backlight activates briefly for each reading.

The capacity that decides fit

Maximum capacity is 550 lb (250 kg / 39 st 6 lb) with a 0.1 lb (0.05 kg) division, and the minimum starting weight is 11 lb. If the person or object you need to weigh exceeds 550 lb, this model cannot measure it.
