Questions about this item

How do I install the 1/2 In. IPS end on my supply line without cross-threading?

Start the threads by hand until they engage cleanly, then tighten with a wrench no more than one full turn past hand-tight to avoid stripping the IPS fitting.

What maintenance will the anti-seize coating on the stem require over time?

The factory-applied anti-seize layer is designed to last the valve's service life; no re-application or periodic lubrication is needed.

What is the first limit reached when the valve stays open continuously?

The California Proposition 65 listing indicates the internal components contain chemicals identified by the State of California as carcinogenic and reproductive toxins.
