1/25 Scale Peterbilt 359 Wrecker Kit

This AMT model kit reproduces the classic Peterbilt 359 wrecker in 1/25 scale. It contains more than 250 highly detailed parts molded in white. The kit is rated Skill Level 3 and is intended for adult hobbyists who enjoy complex assembly projects. Paint and cement are required but not included.

Sustained Assembly Experience

Build sessions extend over many hours because the kit includes a fully detailed cab, engine, drive train, interior and chassis. A two-piece telescoping boom and custom wrecker body add mechanical complexity that rewards careful, patient work. Ten black vinyl tires and a colorful decal sheet provide realistic finishing details throughout the process.

Practical Limits of the 1/25 Scale Format

At 1/25 scale the model cannot accommodate functional hydraulics or motorised movement; every component remains static once assembled. The kit supplies accessories such as flags, a shovel, broom, oil drum, fuel cans, tool chest, hydraulic jack, bumper guard, fire extinguisher and radio with hand mic and antenna, but these are decorative only. Builders seeking a larger scale or remote-controlled operation will need a different product.
