1/24 Scale Reefer Trailer Kit

This AMT model kit reproduces a refrigerated trailer in 1/24 scale. The box contains parts moulded in black and silver together with colourful decals and black vinyl tyres. A spare wheel and rack are included. Assembly requires paint and cement, which are not supplied. The finished model measures over 24 inches in length.

For Adult Modellers Wanting a Detailed Trailer

The kit is rated Skill 3 and intended for adult builders who enjoy complex vehicle subjects. It suits hobbyists looking for a long trailer with a movable select-a-point tandem sliding suspension. Builders who want a complete tractor-trailer combination should look elsewhere because no truck tractor is included. Anyone preferring a pre-assembled replica will need a different product.

1/24 Scale With Movable Tandem Suspension

The defining feature is the 1/24 scale combined with a movable select-a-point tandem sliding suspension that allows the axles to be positioned at different points along the chassis. This mechanism distinguishes the kit from simpler static trailers. If the scale or the adjustable suspension do not match your project requirements, another model will be more appropriate.
