A rigid polycarbonate back and synthetic leather exterior protect against scratches and bumps. The microfiber interior keeps the screen clean. It is not compatible with earlier iPad Mini generations.

Built-in Pencil holder and stand angles

A dedicated holder secures the Apple Pencil (2nd generation) and allows side magnetic charging while attached. The folding cover converts into a stand with two horizontal viewing angles for watching or typing. Magnetic closure keeps the cover shut during transport.

Auto wake/sleep and precise cutouts

The smart cover supports automatic wake and sleep when opened or closed, preserving battery life. Precision cutouts give full access to every port, sensor, speaker and camera without removing the case. The package includes one case only; the Apple Pencil is not included.

Questions about this item

Will the auto wake/sleep function work with my iPad Mini 6 from 2021?

Yes, the magnetic smart cover supports auto wake/sleep on both the 2024 iPad Mini (A17 Pro) and the 2021 iPad Mini 6 models listed.

How can I verify the stand angles are stable after I put the case on?

Fold the cover back into the two horizontal positions; the rigid polycarbonate back and magnetic closure hold the tablet firmly at a viewing angle and a typing angle.

Does the box contain an Apple Pencil or only the case?

The package includes one case for the 8.3-inch iPad Mini 7 (2024) or iPad Mini 6 (2021); the Apple Pencil is not included.
