Dual-layer protection for Fire 7 12th Gen

This hybrid case fits the Amazon Fire 7 12th generation and 7 Kids 7-inch tablet released in 2022. A hard plastic interior pairs with a soft silicone exterior to absorb everyday impacts. Precise cut-outs keep every button, port and control accessible without removing the cover. The package includes one protective case and a random-colour stylus pen.

Shock-absorbing materials and drop defence

The dual-layer construction combines a rigid inner shell with a gel-like outer skin to cushion corners and edges during accidental drops. Silicone adds grip so the tablet is less likely to slip from small hands. No moving parts or active cooling are involved, so the case adds no noise or power draw to the device.

Lightweight add-on that preserves full access

Because the case wraps the tablet without blocking any port, you can charge, use headphones or connect accessories while it stays protected. The integrated T-stand props the screen up for hands-free viewing, freeing desk space for other tasks. The slim profile slides into most bags or sleeves, making it a practical companion for school, travel or home use.

Questions about this item

How do I fit the hybrid hard-plastic and soft-silicone case onto my Fire 7 12th Gen 2022 tablet without forcing the ports?

Align the tablet with the precisely cut openings, press the soft silicone edges over the corners first, then snap the hard plastic shell into place; the cut-outs line up with every button and port so nothing needs to be removed.

Will the silicone outer layer stretch or discolour over time and need replacing?

The soft silicone gel exterior is designed to absorb repeated impacts and resist yellowing; under normal daily use it retains its shape and colour for the life of the case.

At what point does the built-in T-stand stop holding the tablet steady during long video sessions?

The integrated T-stand uses a rigid hinge that locks in two viewing angles; it remains stable for continuous playback until you manually fold it flat again.
