Clear 2-pack for Galaxy Tab A9 8.7

This pack supplies two clear tempered-glass screen covers made specifically for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 8.7" tablets released in 2023. Compatible model numbers are SM-X110, SM-X115 and SM-X117. Each protector is .3 mm thick and rated at 9H hardness to resist everyday scratches and impacts. The ultra-slim design preserves the original touch sensitivity and screen clarity.

Thermals noise and power

A glass screen cover adds no active components, so it generates no heat, draws no power and produces no audible noise during normal use. The thin .3 mm layer does not interfere with the tablet’s built-in thermal management or battery performance. Installation is residue-free and does not affect device operation in any way.

Oleophobic coating and bubble-free fit

The oleophobic coating repels fingerprints and smudges, keeping the display cleaner for longer without extra cleaning effort. Bubble-free adhesive allows a smooth, 99.99% transparent application that maintains full screen brightness and colour accuracy. The two-pack provides a spare for replacement or a second device, extending practical screen protection over time.

Questions about this item

How do I apply the 0.3 mm tempered glass without trapping bubbles?

Clean the 8.7 inch screen thoroughly, align the protector with the SM-X110, SM-X115 or SM-X117 model cutouts, then lower it slowly so the adhesive spreads evenly; press from the centre outward to push air out.

When will the oleophobic coating wear off and need a replacement protector?

The coating reduces fingerprints on the 9H hardness glass, but after months of daily swipes it loses effectiveness; replace the film when smudges no longer wipe clean.

At what point does the 99.99 % transparency drop under constant outdoor glare?

The ultra-slim tempered glass maintains 99.99 % clarity in normal light; prolonged direct sunlight can add surface reflections that reduce perceived brightness first.
