7-Port USB 3.0 Hub for USB-C and USB-A Hosts

This hub expands a single computer port into seven downstream connections plus an HDMI output and an SD card slot. It is aimed at laptop or desktop users who need more sockets for flash drives, printers, scanners, mice or external hard drives. The device works with Windows, macOS and Linux without installing extra drivers. It suits home and office setups that require flexible peripheral attachment.

Aluminium Housing with 50 cm Braided Cable

The enclosure uses aluminium alloy to dissipate heat and resist daily wear. A 50 cm heavy-duty nylon-braided lead reaches from a laptop edge to a desk surface without strain. The package also includes a USB-C to USB-A adapter so the same hub fits both modern and legacy host ports. Ports are arranged side by side, allowing bulky flash drives or dongles to sit together without blocking neighbours.

USB 3.0 Bandwidth Shared Across Seven Ports

All seven downstream ports share the single 5 Gbps upstream link defined by the USB 3.0 standard. When multiple high-throughput devices such as external SSDs transfer simultaneously, each device receives a fraction of that bandwidth. The hub supports up to 127 logical devices in total, but practical throughput drops as concurrent traffic rises. Users needing sustained full-speed transfers on several drives at once should consider a host controller with multiple independent root ports.

Does the 50 cm cable reach a rear motherboard port on a tower?

The 50 cm cable is designed for close-range connections; it may not reach rear ports on a full-size tower without repositioning.
