Portable Bluetooth speaker for travel

The Anker Soundcore 2 is a compact portable speaker built for listeners who want stereo sound on the move. It delivers 12 watts of total power through a 2.0 driver configuration and uses BassUp technology with a spiral bass port to enhance low frequencies. Bluetooth 5.0 provides a stable wireless link up to 20 meters. The IPX7 rating protects the internals from water immersion during outdoor use.

Check your source device and ports

Verify that your phone, laptop or television supports Bluetooth 5.0 for the best wireless range and stability. An auxiliary input is also available for wired playback from devices without Bluetooth. The speaker weighs 0.91 lb and measures 22.0 in by 11.0 in by 11.0 in, so confirm you have space in your bag or on a shelf. No app or special driver is required for basic operation.

Battery life and thermal behaviour

A 5,200 mAh lithium-ion battery supplies up to 24 hours of continuous playback on a single charge. The active amplification runs cool during normal listening sessions and the enclosure stays comfortable to touch. There are no moving cooling parts, so operation remains silent aside from the audio output. Power draw scales with volume level but stays within the limits of the built-in battery system.
