40 ft USB-C camera power cable

This 40-foot USB-C cable delivers continuous power to compatible Ring cameras. The flat, weatherproof design allows indoor or outdoor routing. It connects a male USB-C plug to a female port on the camera. The cable ships new in black.

Ring Outdoor Cam Plus and Spotlight Cam Pro

Compatibility is limited to Ring Outdoor Cam Plus, Ring Spotlight Cam Plus/Pro (Battery), and Stick Up Cam Pro (Battery). The supplier notes it will not work with Arlo, Blink, Eufy, Reolink, Nest or other brands. Camera is not included.

Flat cable runs through windows or along walls

The integrated wire-and-plug construction has no exposed connection points, preventing water ingress. Switching the camera to wired mode enables higher motion sensitivity and snapshot capture. A separate USB power adapter and outlet are required to operate.

Questions about this item

How does the 40 ft length work once the cable is routed through walls or around corners?

The 40 ft cable reaches from an indoor outlet to outdoor Ring cameras, letting you run it along eaves, through soffits or down walls while keeping the USB-C plug seated in the camera port.

What does the USB-C interface cap in practice for these Ring cameras?

The USB-C connector delivers continuous power so the camera stays in wired mode, giving higher motion sensitivity and snapshot capture without battery drain.

What does the flat weatherproof cable need to mount securely outside?

The integrated flat cable has no exposed joint at the plug, so it can be stapled or clipped along siding and the USB-C end seats directly into the Ring camera port.
