What the product is and who it is for

Antec Zip bag Quart Clear 25 Bags are 100% compostable food storage bags sized at quart capacity for everyday kitchen use. Made from corn starch and plant-based materials, they break down within 12 months into carbon dioxide, water, and organic biomass. The secure zipper seal keeps contents fresh in fridge or freezer. A writable surface helps with quick labeling and organization.

Capacity and headroom

Each bag offers quart-sized volume with an extra-thick 2.36 mil (60 micron) construction that resists rips and leaks even with liquids or heavy foods. The pack contains 25 bags suitable for storing raw meat, seafood, produce, cereals, and snacks. They remain leak-proof in freezer conditions and provide reliable performance for meal prep and leftovers. Users needing larger bulk counts or industrial dimensions will find the 25-count pack limiting.

Deciding specification

BPI certified and compliant with ASTM D6400 standards, these bags guarantee verified compostability without conventional plastic residue. The plant-based composition ensures safe direct food contact while delivering a secure zipper closure. This certification is the single factor confirming the product meets recognized compostability requirements for disposal in appropriate facilities.

Questions about this item

Will these quart-size bags fit inside a 7-inch container I already use for meal prep?

How can I verify the bags are composting properly after 12 months?

They are BPI certified and meet ASTM D6400, meaning they should break down into CO2, water and organic biomass within a year in a commercial composting facility.

Are 25 bags the only contents, or do I need to purchase a separate dispenser or labels?

The pack contains 25 quart-size compostable bags with a writable surface for labeling; no dispenser or extra accessories are included.
