Thread Seal Tape Assortment

This Anti-Seize Technology 16005 assortment supplies pipe thread sealant tape for general-purpose sealing on stainless steel and other pipe materials. It is intended for plumbers, maintenance technicians and DIY users who need a reliable thread seal for liquid or gas lines.

Capacity and headroom

Each roll measures 1/2 in overall width by 21 ft overall length with a linear density range of .7 to 1.5 g/cc. The tape handles liquid pressures up to 10,000 psi and gas pressures up to 2,000 psi, so it covers most residential and light commercial piping; it is not rated for higher-pressure industrial systems.

Thermals and power

The tape operates from -400 °F to 550 °F without degrading, maintaining seal integrity across extreme temperature swings. As a non-powered consumable it draws no electricity and produces no noise during installation or service.
