Thread Sealant Tape for General Purpose
This Anti-Seize thread sealant tape is a medium-density PTFE product designed for general-purpose pipe thread sealing. The roll measures 43 ft in length and 3/4 in wide, coloured white for easy identification. It suits applications up to a maximum thread diameter of 1 1/2 in.
Suitable for standard pipe threads not extreme
The tape handles liquid pressures up to 10,000 psi and gas pressures up to 2,000 psi within a temperature range of -400 Degrees F to 550 Degrees F. Linear density falls between 0.7 and 0.8 g/cc. It is not intended for specialised chemical environments or threads larger than the stated maximum diameter.
Stable sealing under sustained pressure
The medium-density construction maintains its fill and resists cold flow when subjected to continuous operating pressures at the rated limits. Performance remains consistent across the full temperature span without hardening or extruding from the joint during prolonged service.
