250W Halogen Bulb for Fixtures

This 250W double-ended halogen bulb operates at 120V and delivers 4000 lumens of bright white light. It suits ceiling fixtures, track lighting and showcase displays in residential or commercial settings. The clear T3 tube measures 78mm in length. Buyers needing a different wattage or voltage should select another model.

Installation and Common Issues

The double-ended base fits compatible sockets directly without tools. Ensure the fixture is rated for 250W and 120V before fitting the lamp. Avoid touching the quartz envelope with bare fingers as oils can create hot spots and shorten the 1500-hour rated life. Allow the bulb to cool before removal to prevent burns.

Check Your Fixture First

Verify that your existing fixture accepts a 78mm double-ended T3 halogen lamp and is rated for at least 250W at 120V. Confirm the socket type matches the double-ended contact configuration. Ensure adequate ventilation around the fixture to handle the heat output. Do not use with dimmers unless both the bulb and dimmer are explicitly rated for halogen loads.
