Antique Light Bulb Co. BTH 575W 115V P28s 54365 Halogen standard bulb

Halogen lamp for stage and studio

The Antique Light Bulb Co. BTH 54365 is a 575 watt halogen lamp built for fixtures that accept a P28s medium prefocus base. It runs at 115 volts and delivers 15500 lumens at a 3250 kelvin colour temperature with a colour rendering index of 100. Designed as a direct replacement for 500 watt 120 volt BTL types, it suits theatre, film and television lighting where accurate colour and high output are required.

Output capacity and limits

At 575 watts the lamp produces thirty percent more luminous flux than the 500 watt lamps it replaces, giving a brighter, whiter beam for demanding productions. The rated life is 300 hours, matching typical studio lamp cycles, so it covers a standard run of performances before replacement. It is not intended for continuous architectural lighting or installations where a multi-thousand hour lifespan is expected.

Heat, noise and electrical load

As a halogen source the lamp generates significant heat during operation and requires fixtures rated for the thermal load; no active cooling is built into the bulb itself. It draws 575 watts at 115 volts, so the supply circuit and dimmer must be sized accordingly. The lamp operates silently, adding no acoustic noise to the venue.
