Reducing Tee for Fire Protection
This Anvil reducing tee connects three pipe sections at 1-1/2, 1-1/4 and 1 inch sizes. It is built for fire protection systems and carries UL listing and FM approval. The black cast iron body meets ASME B16.4 standards for inspected equipment.
Class 125 Pressure and Temperature Limits
The fitting handles up to 175 psi water, oil or gas and 125 psi saturated steam. Its rated temperature range runs from -20° to 150°F. These limits define the practical operating envelope for any installation using this standard.
NPT Thread Compatibility Requirement
The tee uses NPT threads on all three outlets. Only pipes and components with matching NPT threads will seal correctly. Builders using other thread types must select a different fitting.

Questions about this item
Which reducing tee size should I select for a 1-1/2" main line with 1-1/4" and 1" branches?
The 0300043403 model is a 1-1/2" x 1-1/4" x 1" reducing tee, matching that exact branch combination.
What does the 175 psi rating mean for daily water or gas service?
175 psi WOG is the maximum non-shock cold working pressure; the fitting also handles 125 psi saturated steam up to 150°F.
Are the NPT threads on this Class 125 tee compatible with standard iron pipe?
Yes, NPT threads conform to ASME B16.4, so they mate with any standard NPT pipe or fitting of the same nominal sizes.
