Anvil 90° Street Elbow 1/4" FNPT

This Anvil malleable iron street elbow connects a 1/4 inch female NPT thread to a 1/4 inch male NPT thread at a 90 degree angle. It is rated for Schedule 40 pipe and Class 150 service at 300 psi maximum operating pressure at 150 degrees F. The fitting suits plumbing and hydronic systems requiring a compact directional change.

Installation uses standard NPT threading

Apply thread sealant or tape to the male threads before engaging the female end. Tighten to the recommended turns past finger-tight for NPT connections to prevent leaks. Over-tightening can crack the malleable iron casting or distort the threads, while insufficient sealant causes weeping at the joint.
