Anvil 1105R galvanised malleable iron reducing tee 1 x 1 x 1/4
Galvanised malleable iron reducing tee connects 1 in and 1/4 in NPT female threads at Class 150 for Schedule 40 pipe up to 300 psi
- Galvanised malleable iron resists corrosion in water systems
- Class 150 rating suits standard Schedule 40 piping
- Three female NPT ports join different pipe sizes
- 300 psi at 150 °F handles typical supply pressure
- Anvil 1105R reducing tee connects 1 in, 1 in and 1/4 in lines
Galvanised reducing tee 1 x 1 x 1/4
Anvil 1105R connects three female NPT threads in a single malleable iron fitting. The branch reduces from one inch to one quarter inch while the run stays at one inch. Class 150 rating suits Schedule 40 pipe in water, air or gas lines. Supplied new and ready for installation.
Class 150 pressure boundary
Maximum operating pressure is 300 psi at 150 degrees Fahrenheit. Galvanised coating resists corrosion on the exterior but does not change the pressure limit. Threads conform to NPT standard; sealant is required for leak-free joints. Do not exceed the rated temperature or pressure in service.
Replaces separate bushings and tees
One fitting replaces a straight tee plus a reducing bushing, cutting joint count and potential leak paths. The jump is worth it when a small-diameter branch feeds a gauge, drain or instrument from a one-inch main. Not suited for systems that demand a full-bore branch or higher pressure classes.

Questions about this item
Should I pick the 1 x 1 x 1/4 tee or a different branch size?
Choose this tee when the main run is 1 inch and the branch you need to connect is 1/4 inch; any other branch size requires a different fitting.
What does the 300 psi rating mean once the tee is installed?
It means the joint can handle up to 300 psi at 150 °F in a Schedule 40 system, so normal water or air lines at lower pressures are well within its limit.
Will the NPT threads seal directly to my Schedule 40 pipe?
Yes, the three female NPT threads are cut for Schedule 40 pipe, so standard tapered male threads will make a pressure-tight seal when assembled with thread sealant.
