This Anvil pipe cap is a Class 150 fitting made from galvanized malleable iron to ASTM A197. It carries FM Approved and UL Listed marks and meets ASME B16.3. The cap seals a 2-1/2 inch female NPT thread on pipe or equipment.
Suits water, oil, gas and saturated steam lines
The fitting handles 300 psi at 150 degrees F WOG and 150 psi saturated steam at 350 degrees F across a -20 to 350 degrees F range. It is not for systems that exceed these pressure or temperature limits, nor for connections requiring a different thread standard or fitting class.
