Anvil 383 galvanized cast iron hex bushing coupling 2" x 3/4

Anvil 383 hex bushing for pipe reduction

The Anvil 383 is a galvanized cast iron hex bushing that connects a 2 inch male NPT thread to a 3/4 inch female NPT thread. It is rated Class 150 for Schedule 40 pipe and suits plumbing installations that require a step-down in nominal size. The fitting meets a maximum operating pressure of 175 psi at 150 degrees Fahrenheit.

Sustained pressure and temperature performance

Under continuous service the bushing holds its rated 175 psi at the upper temperature limit of 150 degrees Fahrenheit without degradation. The galvanized coating resists corrosion during prolonged exposure to water and condensate in closed-loop systems. It is not intended for applications that exceed the Class 150 pressure class or for pipe schedules heavier than Schedule 40.
