Portable 15.6 inch FHD IPS display

The AOC I1601C is a 15.6 inch portable monitor with a 1920 x 1080 FHD IPS panel. It connects and powers via a single USB-C cable using DisplayPort Alt Mode. The metal alloy case measures 8.5 mm thick and weighs 800 g for easy travel.

60 Hz refresh with 262,000 colours

The 60 Hz panel covers 262,000 display colours and offers 160° horizontal and vertical viewing angles. It handles office applications, web browsing and video playback comfortably. Fast gaming or professional colour grading will exceed its refresh and colour depth limits.

Single USB-C DP Alt Mode connection

Video signal and power both travel over one USB-C port with DisplayPort Alternate Mode. The host device must supply enough current and support video output over USB-C. Systems without DP Alt Mode or with power-limited ports cannot drive this monitor.

Questions about this item

Will the I1601C work with my older laptop that only has HDMI and USB-A ports?

The I1601C connects solely through its USB-C port with DisplayPort Alternate Mode, carrying both power and video. An HDMI-to-USB-C adapter that supports DP Alt Mode is required; a simple USB-A cable cannot drive the display.

How can I confirm the 1920 x 1080 panel is running at its native 60 Hz refresh rate after plugging it in?

Open your operating system display settings and verify the resolution reads 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz. The on-screen menu also reports the active timing, and the IPS panel should show consistent colour across the 160° viewing angles.

Does the box include a USB-C cable and a stand, or must I buy them separately?

The I1601C ships with a USB-C cable for power and video. The metal alloy case has a built-in fold-out stand that provides -5° to 25° tilt and auto-pivots 90° for portrait use, so no separate stand is needed.
