Two-cable USB A to USB C set

This pack contains two black braided cables, each 3.3 ft long, with a USB-A plug on one end and a USB-C plug on the other. They are rated for USB 3.1 Gen 2 data rates up to 10 Gbps and support 3 A charging at up to 60 W. A 56 kΩ pull-up resistor is included for safer current handling. The cables are backward compatible with USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports.

Suits devices with USB-C ports needing fast data

The cables work with phones such as Galaxy S20, S21, S22 and Pixel 4 XL, 5, 6, plus tablets including iPad Pro 2018 and 2020, MacBook models, Chromebook Pixel, Dell XPS 13, external SSDs like Samsung T7 and LaCie T5, and accessories such as Oculus Quest and GoPro. They also function with Android Auto in compatible vehicles. Not for users who need video output or a single cable longer than 3.3 ft.

USB 3.1 Gen 2 10 Gbps data rating

The decisive specification is the USB 3.1 Gen 2 interface delivering up to 10 Gbps transfer speed. If your workflow requires that bandwidth for moving large files between USB-A hosts and USB-C storage or peripherals, these cables meet the requirement; if you need video alternate modes or higher power delivery, they will not suffice.

Questions about this item

How long will the braided jacket and connectors last with daily plugging and unplugging?

The braided nylon jacket resists fraying and the reinforced connectors are rated for thousands of insertions, so normal daily use will not wear them out quickly.

What limits the 10 Gbps transfer rate during a long file copy?

Sustained speed is capped by the connected device's controller and thermal limits; the cable itself maintains full USB 3.1 Gen 2 bandwidth.

Does the cable get warm when delivering 60 W continuously?

The 56 kΩ pull-up resistor and 3 A rating keep temperature rise minimal even during extended 60 W charging sessions.
