15.6" 300 Hz display for competitive play

The AORUS 15P XD-73US324SH is a 15.6-inch gaming laptop built around a 300 Hz FHD IPS panel. It targets players who need high refresh rates in a portable chassis. An Intel Core i7-11800H processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU with 8 GB GDDR6 drive modern titles. Windows 10 Home 64-bit ships pre-installed.

Windforce Infinity cooling sustains 130 W GPU power

The Windforce Infinity cooling system keeps the RTX 3070 Laptop GPU at its 130 W maximum graphics power during extended sessions. Dynamic Boost 2.0 and Optimus Technology shift load between CPU and GPU to maintain clock speeds. The 8-core Tiger Lake processor reaches 4.60 GHz turbo while the 1 TB Gen4 SSD feeds assets without throttling.

Upgrades from 60 Hz panels

Moving from a 60 Hz screen to the 300 Hz panel cuts motion blur in fast shooters. The RTX 3070 Laptop GPU adds DLSS and 130 W headroom over earlier 80 W mobile parts. Thunderbolt 4 and PCIe Gen4 storage support future peripherals and faster drives. The jump is worth it when frame consistency matters more than battery life.

Questions about this item

How loud or hot does the AORUS 15P XD-73US324SH get when the RTX 3070 runs at its 130W max graphics power all day?

The Windforce Infinity cooling system is designed to sustain 100% output performance. With the GPU rated at 130W max graphics power and a 1560 MHz boost clock, the laptop manages heat to keep clocks stable during extended sessions.

What must I already own to use the Thunderbolt 4 port on the AORUS 15P XD-73US324SH for an external monitor?

You need a Thunderbolt 4 cable and a monitor that accepts Thunderbolt 4 or USB-C DisplayPort Alt Mode input. The port supports video output and data simultaneously, so a single cable can drive the display and peripherals.

Will the AORUS 15P XD-73US324SH's 300 Hz panel work well with an older 60 Hz external monitor I keep?

Yes. The laptop can drive its internal 300 Hz IPS panel and an external 60 Hz display at the same time. Each output runs at its native refresh rate, so the external monitor stays at 60 Hz while the built-in screen runs at 300 Hz.
