The Aowel AW701 is a non-programmable thermostat built for conventional 1 heat / 1 cool single-stage HVAC systems such as gas, oil or electric furnaces and central air conditioning. It is sold as a 12-pack for multi-zone or multi-property installations. It is not suitable for multi-stage, heat-pump, line-voltage (120-240 V), hydronic, PTAC, mini-split or RV air-conditioning systems.

Wall-Mount Installation with Battery Power

The unit mounts on a wall using the included wall plugs and operates on two AAA batteries, eliminating the need for a C-wire. Wiring bases that support only two to five wires are compatible; verify your existing base before purchasing.
